I currently have a AMD athlon 64 3500 ( 2.2ghz venice). Should I go for a Dual core? or not thanx.? - amd toledo

I want the AMD Athlon X2 4200 2.2 GHz dual-core Toledo. Does it make sense to get it? Need answers Thanx BEUC soon as possible, which I save the comp too.

It depends on what you use your computer. Some applications, such provision will be given another 2 cores.

Also, you simultaneously run applications like e-mail and anti-virus? If so, you will see an increase in speed, because the operating system can run an application on any basis.
